POTASSIUM NITRATE (SALTPETER) FERTILIZER 2KG
Potassium nitrate is completely soluble and fertilization can be applied through irrigation and foliar systems. It does not contain chlorides and sodium, as well as other ingredients that adversely affect growth, plant development and crop quality.
Potassium nitrate is used before sowing in the spring, but often especially on heavy soils in autumn. In early spring potassium is absorbed by the soil and it remains available to plants until summer, and chlorine (which can be harmful to plants) is washed into deeper layers. Potassium fertilizers contain not only the basic nutrients, but also so-called microelements, which occur in the soil in small amounts and are a necessary condition for the good development of plants.
When using spring fertilizer, it should be mixed with soil so that too high concentration of potassium does not hinder germination and development of young plants. Its excess can lead to a reduction in the content of available calcium and magnesium.
